How does it work?

Very simple: you subscribe an account and give us your music, we encode and deliver your music to the internet stores, and they will sell it. The stores will account us and finally we pay you. We charge you nothing on your sales (unless you are on the Split-Deal account). dealwithmusic.com works on Subscription basis. There are 3 different accounts.

What is the difference between the 3 accounts?

A)    Basic Account £49
B)    Full Account £99
C)    Split Deal 30% - 70%

A)
This account offers the distribution of your music onto iTunes. The price of £49 is per release (single, ep, album, compilation) worldwide (unless differently specified) per year, you keep 100% of your royalties forever.

B)
This account offers the distribution of your music onto iTunes, Napster, eMusic, Real Rhapsody, Beatport, Djdownload, Juno, Xpressbeats, Indiemobile, Vidzone (these may vary according to the genre of your music). The price of £99 is per release (single, ep, album, compilation) worldwide (unless differently specified) per year, You keep 100% of your royalties forever.

C)
This account is different from the other two for these reasons:

- Deal with Music specializes on all Dance, Electronic, Pop, Lounge, Chill Music, so we need to approve your release.
- You don’t pay anything upfront; you share with us your digital royalties on a spilt 30% - 70% in your favour, so 70% is for you.
- The tracks in your release could be re-released included in other compilations, giving extra exposure to your music and extra chances to sell. This will be treated according to Bacci Bros Record’s promotion plans (www.baccibros.com).
- There is a cost to be recouped by us of £5 per track per release. This means that we take the initial £5 earned by the song, in every release it is included, to recoup the costs of digitalization, storing and delivering.
- You could be offered a publishing deal with Bacci Bros Records, giving you other possibilities of income and promotion for your music (TV, shops, commercials, etc..).

Which account should I choose?

If you feel confident about promoting your music and creating a buzz around it, you can keep 100% of your royalties and pay the fee, we always suggest the £99, because with an extra small fee you get to cover most of the essential stores online.
If you want our Record label, Bacci Bros. Rec, to be involved in the project (issuing other releases that may include your tracks, thus improving the chances of exposure and sales) and you don’t want to pay an advance, you may pick the split deal*.
(*your music needs to be approved by us)

Why should I do this?

We believe in the huge importance of exposing your music online IMMEDIATELY. This is because of new Internet record stores, mp3 downloading figures, mp3 players (i.e. iPod), ADSL and broadband penetration, which are completely changing how we experience and trade with music. Our accessible service of distribution delivers your music into the best internet stores for a small fee with NO commission on your sales.
It’s hard to sell music, but if you are not there... it’s impossible!

How much does it cost and what about invoicing?

Basic Account £49 per year, per release.
Full Account £99 per year, per release.
Split Deal 30/70

We will take NO MONEY out of your sales, whatever the amount is, for the Basic and Full Account. In the Split Deal Account we will keep 30% of all your royalty sales.
For more detail on the accounts see the previous questions.
If you require an invoice send us an email to info@dealwithmusic.com requesting your invoice with Name and Address to be invoiced.

How much music can I deliver?

You can deliver as much music as you want!
Once you are subscribed, you have the right to deliver music into the stores (according to the account you have chosen).
The subscription fee will include all the music in the 1st delivery you do with us.
This is counted in minutes, 74 minutes is the maximum, which is what you can fit in a single cd.
If you exceed this quantity you have to split your music into 2 releases. Look at ADVANCED INFO.
If during the subscription period you have more music to sell, another release, you can send it to us with the same procedure.

Can people buy my music or music video through Deal With Music?

At this time, your music and/or music videos can be bought in the stores and services Deal With Music delivered your music to. However, your music/videos cannot be bought at Deal With Music itself, nor does Deal With Music sell or distribute physical copies of your music.
